Connecting our region, one trail at a time.
There's no Wi-Fi on the trails — but you won't find a better connection.

The Trails-Giving 5K is more than a race: it's a celebration of our trails and the people who bring them to life. Organized by MDR* Trails (MDR Conservation and Trails Association Inc.), the event connects our communities on Thanksgiving morning. MDR* Trails is a non-profit organization born from a citizen-led initiative, independent of government.
* MDR: Moncton – Dieppe – Riverview
Everyone gathers and starts at 9:00 AM: fast runners head out first, followed by joggers, then walkers, strollers and families. No pressure, just fun.
Smiling volunteers, cheers along the whole route and a festive finish at Rotary St-Anselme Park. Feel like dressing up as a turkey or in autumn colours? We love it! Be part of the very first edition!
The course is point-to-point: the start and finish are in different places. Read it carefully. Your participation in this great adventure will make the event truly memorable.

At Rotary St-Anselme Park (the finish). From there, a shuttle takes you to the start at the Dieppe Aquatic Centre. Your car waits for you at the finish line: the best of both worlds. Consider carpooling too, fewer cars and more fun! The Dieppe Aquatic Centre and the Dieppe IGA Co-op will be closed that day and have kindly allowed us to use their parking lots.
Yes, one way only, from Rotary Park to the start, at 8:00, 8:15 and 8:30 AM. Seats are limited: first come, first served, so we also encourage carpooling. There is no return shuttle after the race.
Yes, if you can't pick it up the day before, your bib will be available from 7:30 to 8:30 AM on race morning at the Rotary Park Pavilion. We still recommend the day before (3:00 to 5:30 PM, same spot) for a stress-free morning.
The Trails-Giving 5K is first and foremost a community celebration. Timing is provided by Atlantic Chip, and results will be posted as they come in.
The race happens rain or shine: it's fall in New Brunswick, after all! In case of dangerous conditions, we'll reach registered participants by email and on our social channels.
Absolutely! Families, kids and strollers are all welcome. Everyone starts at 9:00 AM: walkers, strollers and families line up at the back and move at their own pace, safely.
We love our four-legged friends! Unfortunately, for insurance reasons, dogs can't take part in the race. Please leave them at home that morning.
